
These days I am quite partial to an alcoholic lolly. Cooling, tasty and a nice little hit of Prosecco and Aperol in these make me almost believe I am in Italy!
If you add straws instead of lolly sticks, these are fantastic served in a glass, as you can sip as they melt - or even pour some Prosecco over the top!
Ingredients
SERVES 4
- 2 large oranges, or 150ml of fresh orange juice
- 2 tbsp. caster sugar
- 3 tbsp. Aperol or Campari
- 3 tbsp. prosecco
- Ice Lolly Moulds
- Plastic straws (optional)
Method
Squeeze the oranges, or pour out 150ml of fresh orange juice into a bowl.
Heat the sugar with 1 tablespoon of water until it has dissolved. Add to the bowl, along with the Aperol and Prosecco.
Add some of the zest from the orange if you wish
Pour into four moulds and freeze
You can add straws instead of lolly sticks if you wish, then serve in a glass and slurp as they melt!
