After the buzz around these last year, Marks and Spencer have brought back their Winter Berries and Prosecco Crisps. Retailing at £2 for a 150g bag. I didn't try any last year, as when I approached M&S head office for a sample they were not interested, even though my blog about them had over 1 million likes! Well I've bitten the bullet and bought a packet this year to try. They definitely divided opinion last time, and I think that will be set to continue. The crisps look fabulous, they have a slight pinky tinge, covered with tiny gold edible stars. On tasting, the first thing I noticed was the fizzy sensation. Looking at the ingredients this is Sodium Bacarbonate. Now, this is personal taste, but I find these crisps waaaay too sweet. For me, crisps are a savoury snack, and anything that changes that is just wrong. I appreciate this is the Winter Berries part of the description, but I have to say, I really am not keen on these. I had three, got my husband to try one (he didn't like them either), and I have left them I'm afraid. Now, this is just my opinion, and I know loads of Prosecco Watchers loved these last year. Do you like them? I'd love to hear what you think!

AuthorI love Prosecco! I started sharing the love back in 2012 when I started a Facebook page highlighting weekly deals. The page has grown into this website, and a rather large following of Prosecco Watchers! All press/review requests please email me - hello@proseccowatch.co.uk Archives
