HOW TO CLAIM See the newspaper this Saturday, December 27 for details on how you can claim 30% off a case of Prosecco, plus two free Champagne flutes worth £14.99." ![]() Saw these beauties in Morrisons earlier today! I posted the photo on the Prosecco Watch Facebook page and it's gone viral (well nearly)! I think Morrisons should be paying me commission at this rate as the photos posted on the thread of the bottles in your trolleys are fantastic! I actually forgot to buy some in all the excitement, so I'm off back there now before you lot buy them all!! ![]() Just had this deal sent across - not bad - 20% off a case of 6! This one is really nice!
This little fella has been chilling in the fridge for a few days now. On the Morrisons website it is described as "sweet" which has been putting me off trying it. I really don't like the Martini prosecco for this very reason - just too sweet for me. On further inspection however, the back of the bottle says it's Extra Dry, so I assume this must be an oversight on the part of Morrisons. I have to say, this is a really nice prosecco. It's light, crisp, fruity, and not too bubbly. It has gooseberry hints, slightly lemony, and very easy to drink. Currently on offer at £5.49 reduced from £11.99 I will be stocking up as this could be popping into my Top 5!
![]() Today to accompany me in my roast chicken cooking mission, I picked up the La Gioiosa prosecco in Morrisons this morning, whilst buying a few forgotten essentials. There is no description on the back of the bottle, but the Morrisons website says - "Italy's answer to champagne, this lovely, dry Prosecco is a real lemony mouthful with a hint of almonds to finish off. It's great on its own and if you want to enjoy it as part of a meal, try it with a fish pie or a lovely light seafood pasta." I agree it is lemony, but it is incredibly dry. I don't mind this too much personally, but I think some could be put off as it is a tad bitter. It is currently on offer at £7.49 reduced from £9.99. Right, the chicken needs basting, so that's my first blog done! See you soon x J x |
AuthorI love Prosecco! I started sharing the love back in 2012 when I started a Facebook page highlighting weekly deals. The page has grown into this website, and a rather large following of Prosecco Watchers! All press/review requests please email me - hello@proseccowatch.co.uk Archives
