After the "how to keep a magnum overnight" dilemma, I bought a little fizzy wine stopper this afternoon in Sainsbury's. Now if I'm honest, I'm a little concerned this won't actually get used that much as a standard 75cl bottle does not last overnight in our house once opened. I do however, have a couple of the Morrisons magnums in the cupboard (I bought 6 at Christmas) so I intend to try it out on them. Last one we opened was left outside the back door with a spoon in the top. There have been discussions around whether this does actually work in our house (I say no, he says yes), but I have to admit, the Prosecco was still fizzy. Reading up on this, apparently the key to keeping your Prosecco with it's pizzazz is to keep it as cold as possible (and not a spoon)! I will let you know how I get on with the stopper tomorrow......

AuthorI love Prosecco! I started sharing the love back in 2012 when I started a Facebook page highlighting weekly deals. The page has grown into this website, and a rather large following of Prosecco Watchers! All press/review requests please email me - hello@proseccowatch.co.uk Archives
